What Is Apollo?

Apollo Central Ltd is a micro-entity software company with an ambition to make digital inclusion a reality for all regardless of age or other characteristic. The founder has experienced illness both physically, phycological & mentally and worked in the technology, education & software industries.

We aim to achieve this ambition by using existing technology to leverage tools that assist users and simplify the computing experience. The solutions are designed to offer simplicity over multiple features and can be accessed and used by a very broad range of users.

But aren't there already a large number of these solutions?

Recent years have allowed for EdTech companies and additional neurodiversity based solutions to flourish. Although there are a large number of well-known products on the market that support users, both in education & home, it is believed that the founders lived experience can be used to leverage existing tools to further benefit technology users. The concept is based on lived-experiences which have included working in SEN settings, software development, illness & injury and assisting the elderly.

There are also some existing solutions that provide those who supply EdTech solutions to reach out and advertise their products. The EdTech marketplace was formed to offer a more generic self-managed platform for suppliers to increase their customer reach.

Are the products ready for purchase?

No, not yet - The EdTech marketplace will be the first to launch in the first quarter of 2026. However subsequent products will be released according to a roadmap. The founder is currently working full-time and is only currently able to advance the product outside of normal work hours. This does of course have an impact on progress and it is hoped that appropriate funding can be secured to make the solution a reality.

What is the EdTech Marketplace?

The EdTech marketplace is a separate site where suppliers of various sizes providing tech to the Education industry can showcase their products and companies. There are competitively prices advertising plans  for Spotlight, Featured & Catalogue Products. Events can also be included by event organisers.

Anyone can visit the market site and there's no need to sign in, but as an added bonus it is displayed on the Home page of a selection of Apollo products and switches between Spotlight and Featured.

Marketplace

Portal

Why do I need access to a Portal?

The portal will allow you to manage your account and purchase the relevant product along with managing users and associated licenses. For the EdTech marketplace it allows you to sign-up & manage what products or events appear along with a dashboard showing user interaction.

What is the difference in Portals?

You only have 1 product per portal.  This is associated with a sign-up email.  The portal you receive depends on the relevant product type. e.g. EdTech Supplier | Education | Workplace | Care Home | Home

Do I need to sign into the Portal regularly?

You will only need to sign into the portal to purchase or manage a product and handle your accounts & billing. You do not need to sign in to view the education marketplace but you'll need to sign in if you're a supplier wishing to  add/manage products. Only Apollo Education, Tutor and Student will require you to sign in daily.

Products

What will be available in Apollo Core Products?

Apollo's core products -  Workplace, Home and Educational products will share the same overall functionality with differences in use dependent only on the relevant customers general requirements.

Will Apollo Care Home be used to assist in the running of Care Homes?

No. Apollo Care Home will be a solution for providing device based entertainment to care home residents. Again based on lived experience and a desire to improve the daily lives of elderly residents. The product will simply offer a way for care homes to provide additional entertainment and cognitive tools in an appropriate manner.

What features does the EdTech marketplace offer suppliers?

Features included will be the ability to see how many people have viewed your product, how many have clicked through from the marketplace to your website or used any of the other links. As a supplier you will be able to upload a logo, specify company and product names, contact and social information and a short appropriate description. For events you will be able to include a longer description, upload a PDF or image and provide additional links e.g. to ticket purchasing.

To ensure appropriate use of the marketplace you will need to agree to a set of general terms and conditions and each request to appear will need to be reviewed by a human. We may in future make use of AI to ensure images are legal and descriptions relevant.
